CHARLOTTE, NC – Dentsply Sirona Inc. has named Michael Pomeroy as interim Chief Financial Officer, the company announced November 25, 2025, in an SEC filing. Pomeroy will serve temporarily while the dental equipment manufacturer searches for a permanent CFO.

During this transition period, President and CEO Daniel T. Scavilla will continue serving as the company's principal financial officer in addition to his executive duties.

Extensive Finance Leadership Background

Pomeroy brings over four decades of finance experience, having started his career at General Electric from 1981 to 2000. Throughout his career, he has guided businesses through periods of growth, operational improvements, turnarounds, and mergers and acquisitions across multiple industries including manufacturing, healthcare, consumer retail, and distribution.

His recent leadership roles demonstrate versatility across the healthcare and business services sectors. Most recently, Pomeroy served as interim CFO of Highridge Medical, a spinal devices company, from February through September 2025.

His other recent positions include Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Icahn Automotive Group (2022-2024), the same role at Hollander-Keeco, a home textiles company (2021-2022), and Vice President and CFO of RGIS, a retail and warehousing services company (2017-2021).

Strategic Transition for Dentsply Sirona

The interim appointment comes as Dentsply Sirona, one of the world's largest manufacturers of professional dental products and technologies, manages its financial leadership transition. The company has not disclosed the circumstances surrounding the CFO change or provided a timeline for naming a permanent chief financial officer.
